In addition to the amenities directly on site, guests at the Ordway also have access to the Camden Riverhouse Hotel when in season, between April and December. There you can enjoy our heated indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and firepit with s’mores in the evenings.
POLICIES
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in begins at 3pm and check-out is at 10am. Please bring a photo ID to your check-in. Give us a call on the first day of your stay to find out if your room is available for early check-in—if we’ve had the time to clean and prepare it, we’re happy to check you in early! Late check-out fees will be applied at $30/hour and check-out after 2pm will result in additional night charged to your bill. All check-ins and check-outs take place at the front desk at the Camden Riverhouse Hotel at 11 Tannery Lane.
BOOKING DEPOSIT: You will be asked to pay a one-night deposit at the time of your booking. If you cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation, your deposit will be returned to you in full.
CANCELLATIONS: You can cancel your stay at no cost within 48 hours of booking. Any cancellations beyond this point will incur a $35 fee. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time, you will be charged the full amount of the original reservation.
Please note this policy applies to guests who book directly with Camden Riverhouse via our website or phone. Travel agencies and 3rd party booking sites may have different policies and must be cancelled on the platform they were originally booked on.
NO SMOKING: We’re dedicated to a comfortable and clean stay for all our guests. Our property is therefore 100% smoke free, including rooms, balconies, common areas and within 20 feet of any entrances to our property. Smoking includes: all smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, hookahs, incense, cigars, burning of candles, or any other device that emits smoke or vapor. Odors from any smoking source can be hard to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture. Guests will be asked to leave without reimbursement and assessed a minimum of $250 cleaning fee if it has been determined that they have been smoking or vaping in their room or any of the listed areas of the Hotel.
ADDITIONAL OCCUPANCY: All room rates advertised are for 2 guests. If there are more than 2 adult guests per room, there is a $25/night additional charge per person, 16 or over. Children under 16 stay free with their parent in the same room. Cribs are provided at no cost, cots are $20/night for anyone 16 or older.
PET POLICY: The Ordway Cottage is dog-friendly but you must call to book and get approval, with a signed agreement at check-in. We allow a maximum of two dogs and do not discriminate by breed or size, any canine-friend is welcome! However, we do not allow cats or other pets at our cottage.
