The last thing you want to worry about while trying to relax is moving your car every two hours, or the parking bill at the end of a day of shopping. All 4 of our Camden lodging options comes with free, private parking lot for one vehicle per room. Our lot is on Tannery Lane just a few steps away all that downtown Camden, Maine has to offer.
TANNERY LANE FOOTBRIDGE
Time and again, what guests love about staying at any of the Camden Riverhouse properties is their location! You won’t be stuck miles away from the action in cookie cutter hotel next to the highway. Each of our 4 locations are less than a 5 minute walk to downtown Camden, Maine. And our favorite little secret is the Tannery Lane Footbridge that crosses the Megunticook and leads to all the shops and restaurants. Each spring, we fill this “fairy-tale” bridge with bright flowers so that your journey into town is joyful and sweet. Plus, you’ll find River Ducks Ice Cream waiting for you at the end.
HEATED INDOOR POOL
We might be ocean people, but there’s something extra relaxing about a leisurely swim in a temperature-controlled pool. Our main hotel with a pool is open seasonally April to December and is available for guests from all 4 properties. A great way for adults to unwind or for kids to keep busy during your stay. Please note our pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Pool toys and towels are also available for guest use.
DOG FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS
At our pet friendly hotel in Maine, your four-legged family members are just as welcome as you are. We serve continental breakfast to guests from all 4 Camden Riverhouse properties in the 2nd floor Hotel breakfast room every day from 7am to 10am. Our breakfast menu rotates, but you can always find a selection of fresh fruit, cereal, tea, coffee, juices, eggs, yogurt, breads, waffles and more. You can enjoy breakfast indoors or on our balcony overlooking the backyard.
ADA ACCESSIBLE HOTEL ROOMS
Our main Hotel has an ADA entrance with ramp and 4 ADA Accessible rooms that offer features like wider doorways, accessible showers, bathroom handrails, and emergency cords. Every floor of our hotel is also accessible by elevator, so no one has to miss out on a trip to the pool, breakfast room, or balcony. Vacationing in Midcoast, Maine is for everyone! Starry evenings call for sweet treats and new friends. At the Camden Riverhouse, one of our favorite nightly traditions is to gather by the firepit in our spacious backyard and make s’mores! Little ones love roasting marshmallows and biting into gooey s’mores but our adult guests also say this activity is a great opportunity to meet new people from around the country and even the world. Weather permitting, we take care of all the set-up and provide the fixings for your s’mores feast!
